Officer and scout, Weequay Adazian Liebke held the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the military. Liebke, along with many fellow graduates, enlisted in the Rebel Alliance after completing his studies at the Galactic Outdoor Survival School. Liebke gained recognition within the Alliance ground forces as a member of the esteemed Eclipse Team. Furthermore, he contributed to the Sandwind Team and compiled intelligence assessments regarding potential threats to the Alliance for the Task Force on Alliance Security. Notably, many of these reports focused on Liebke's personal adversaries who had previously survived encounters with him, including individuals such as Callandri, Ssach'thirix, Ther-das, and the infamous Jundland Banshee.
Following the dissolution of the Rebel Alliance, Lieutenant Commander Liebke transitioned to the Special Forces of the New Republic. He successfully evaded an assassination attempt orchestrated by his former comrade, Ma'w'shiye, who had turned rogue. Subsequently, Commander Liebke became an integral part of a specialized unit tasked with apprehending Ma'w'shiye.
Born on the homeworld of Sriluur, Adazian Liebke was a male Weequay whose family boasted a distinguished legacy of military service. Upholding this familial tradition, Liebke embarked on his military career upon reaching adulthood.
Liebke received his education at the Galactic Outdoor Survival School, a peripheral institution where headmaster Barosa Warren and his team imparted survival skills in challenging ecosystems. This was achieved by simulating such environments on the planet Thrantin during a nearly five-year program. Liebke's twelve-member team, known as the Twilight Class, comprised diverse specialists who honed their teamwork abilities while surpassing several previous records. It was during this period that Liebke forged a close friendship with his classmate, the eccentric Vodran Xenon "Xe" Nnaksta.
In 12 BBY, Liebke and his classmates were assigned their graduation task: a multi-day expedition across Thrantin's varied terrains, devoid of advanced technology. Led by classmate Sisquoc, the team completed the challenge in 104 hours, breaking the previous record by over a day, albeit in a state of exhaustion. Consequently, membership in the Twilight Class became a mark of prestige.
During this era, Sriluur was plagued by the Houk–Weequay conflicts, a localized dispute between the indigenous Weequay and the immigrant Houks. Adazian Liebke returned to Sriluur and joined the Dnalvec Militia on the Weequay side. During his tenure as a wilderness fighter, Liebke became a handler of dark wolf, owning two dozen of them. He also cultivated lasting friendships with two fellow militiamen. Liebke witnessed the loss of several comrades in defense of Weequay territories such as Dnalvec, Copper Coast, and the industrial Meirm City against the Houks.
Eventually, the Galactic Empire intervened on Sriluur to resolve the Conflicts. They established garrisons in the areas the Weequays had fought to protect, much to Liebke's dismay. Liebke then made the decision to gather his belongings, secure his best wolfpack, offer a tribute at the Obsidian Shrine, and depart from Sriluur.
Rumors circulated that Liebke briefly worked as either a security guard or an assistant at an experimental cybernetics laboratory, but these claims remain unverified, and Liebke later declined to discuss the matter.
Shortly after the conclusion of the Houk-Weequay Conflicts, Liebke, along with his two friends from the Dnalvec Militia and several classmates from the GOSS, joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic, also known as the Rebel Alliance. Liebke became a member of its Alliance Special Forces branch.
During an unforeseen visit to the Pii system, Liebke encountered his former classmate and friend Nnaksta, who was employed as a manager at the Greel Wood Logging Corporation on Pii III. Nnaksta offered Liebke refuge to evade Imperial detection. During this period, Liebke persuaded Nnaksta to join the Alliance. From that point forward, Liebke and Nnaksta collaborated on numerous missions, often arguing about who would operate the airspeeder: Nnaksta's reckless approach, while damaging to vehicles and passengers, was undeniably faster than Liebke's more conventional driving style.
After a period as a refugee on Pii IV, Liebke became a wilderness fighter for the Alliance Special Forces at New Kisge and a Major in the Alliance ground forces. He also served as the contact for sending training teams to Pii IV, specifically requesting the use of rough terrain for infantry training. Liebke was also responsible for integrating Rebel refugees by concealing them within the workforce on Pii III.
Later, Liebke achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and served alongside Lieutenant Ma'w'shiye, a former classmate from the GOSS. Liebke quickly rose to prominence as one of the most distinguished Weequays in the Rebel Alliance, gaining notoriety as a member of the infamous Twilight Squadron within the equally-disreputable Eclipse Team. His use of raquor'daans in missions also contributed to his fame.
While assigned to the Sandwind Team as interim head during agent N'tain Xalis's absence in the Elus sector, Liebke observed on Tatooine that the destructive actions of the Tusken Raider known as the Jundland Banshee posed a significant threat to the Sandwind cell and subsequently filed a report on him.
While enjoying drinks with fellow Rebel officers Alton Lochner and Tirranna at the Brawl and Grill in Trader's Quarter on Ord Mantell, Liebke found himself caught in an assassination attempt on Lochner by Callandri. Unaware of any justification for Lochner's demise, Tirranna and Liebke collaborated to save his life, with Tirranna's actions proving crucial. Liebke was later consulted by Rebel officer Vanden Willard when Willard sought to compile a report on Callandri.
Liebke collaborated with Xenon Nnaksta in an effort to secure supplies for the Rebel cell on Pii III. They were discovered by bounty hunter Ssach'thirix, who attempted to capture them. Mistaking him for an Imperial bounty hunter, Nnaksta and Liebke requested reinforcements. With assistance from Kichiir and others in the vicinity, Ssach'thirix was defeated and humiliated. Liebke later documented the threat posed by Ssach'thirix, expressing his frustration with being mistaken for a holo-target by bounty hunters and assassins.
Liebke served as a member of the Rebel Alliance Task Force, contributing essential reports on significant threats to the Rebel Alliance. In addition to Callandri and Ssach'thirix, Liebke also wrote about Ther-das, the Arcona swordsbeing, noting that Ther-das's past addiction was no longer an issue for the fencer in 2 ABY and citing the incident on Teloc Ol-sen as evidence of the threat Ther-das presented.
Following the Battle of Endor, Lieutenant Commander Liebke continued his service as an officer in the New Republic Special Forces. Ma'w'shiye, having deserted, launched a series of assassination attempts on his former teammates, including Liebke. Liebke survived and subsequently joined a specialized team formed to apprehend the fugitive, becoming one of its leading officers.

Adazian Liebke possessed expertise in survival, particularly in arid environments. He maintained physical fitness and demonstrated proficiency in riding and climbing, while also honing his skills in stealth and reconnaissance. He was a capable combatant, proficient in unarmed combat, melee weapons, and, to a lesser extent, the use of grenades and personal and vehicle-mounted blaster weapons. His preferred armaments were a heavy blaster pistol and a force pike, which he wielded with exceptional skill. He typically wore a protective battle vest and carried a comlink.
Liebke was a skilled pilot, surpassing his friend Nnaksta in proficiency, although Nnaksta's disregard for the well-being of vehicles and passengers often resulted in faster travel times. Liebke's piloting skills were primarily focused on ground vehicles such as swoops and repulsorlifts, which he was also capable of repairing. However, he had some experience operating starship guns. Liebke possessed technical expertise in security, demolitions, and computer programming and repair, as well as basic first aid training.
Having served in the Dnalvec Militia, Liebke possessed a thorough understanding of its bureaucratic processes, and a lesser familiarity with the bureaucracy of other organizations. He had studied alien species, planetary systems, and law enforcement, and was comfortable navigating the criminal underworld. Liebke was an experienced and effective commander, and at times, an intimidating individual.
Liebke was also renowned as a handler of dark wolves, possessing specialized knowledge in the field. He typically carried tail stinger wraps and two dark wolf muzzles.
Like other Weequays, Liebke could generate pheromones to communicate with members of his clan without verbalizing. In contrast to many Weequays, Liebke was generally friendly when interacting with other Rebels, but only truly open with close comrades who had endured numerous trials alongside him, while other Weequays tended to be reserved, violent, and unfriendly.
