Ssach'thirix, a Shatras who worked as a bounty hunter, was active during the era of the Galactic Civil War. His preferred weaponry typically included a light repeating blaster, coupled with a blaster pistol, and a supply of grenades. Additionally, he carried manacles and an Imperial Peace Keeping Cerfiticate.
His specialty, for reasons that remain unclear, involved hunting down sentient reptilian beings. Some have speculated that he held a belief in the superiority of the Shatras species over other reptilian races.
Ssach'thirix successfully collected rewards for capturing numerous Rebel agents, among them Larkor, a Barabel, and Thlan-sa, a Kath. This made him a target of interest for Alliance Intelligence.
Despite his overall success, he experienced a few failures, including an assassination attempt on the special operative Jungen, and a notable incident involving Rebel lieutenant commander Xenon Nnaksta. In the latter case, Nnaksta and another Rebel, Adazian Liebke, were gathering supplies on Pii III for a Rebel cell when Ssach'thirix tracked them down. Liebke and Nnaksta, mistaking Ssach'thirix for an Imperial bounty hunter, requested assistance from Kichiir and others. Ultimately, Ssach'thirix was left bruised and defeated, though he survived the encounter.
For many years, Ssach'thirix maintained a rivalry with fellow bounty hunter Kal-tan-shi, with each consistently attempting to sabotage the other's hunts.
