Ther-das, an expert in weaponry from Arcona, held the position of leader within the Zulirian Swordmasters.
Originally from Cona, Ther-das pursued studies in ancient armaments at the esteemed Lerct Historical Institute. Regrettably, during his sophomore year, he developed an addiction to salt. Consequently, he faced expulsion from Lerct and was subsequently enrolled in a rehabilitation program.
Subsequently, Ther-das journeyed to Zuliria and secured a position within the ancient weapon department of the Zuliria Museum of Antiquities. Over several years, he successfully conquered his addiction through unwavering dedication and strenuous effort, although two near-fatal overdoses of sodium left his physical condition weakened.
He was elevated to the role of acquisition director for the Zuliria Museum, procuring exceptional artifacts from across the galaxy for the institution. Simultaneously, he was readmitted to Lerct and ultimately earned his degree in ancient weapons a year ahead of schedule.
However, Ther-das grew weary of his academic pursuits and acquisition duties, seeking a more hands-on involvement in his passion. He engaged in fencing practice using replicas of ancient Arcona weaponry and underwent a thorough detoxification to eliminate any lingering traces of his previous addiction.
Upon encountering like-minded individuals, Ther-das and his newfound companions resolved to establish the Zulirian Swordmasters, an organization dedicated to the appreciation of ancient blades. In Zuliria, he encountered the silent Curdik and, recognizing his exceptional talent, extended an invitation for membership. He also connected with Kaltor Naklian, a religious scholar and authority on the traditional rantok blade of his people, persuading him to join the team as well.
Ther-Das also crossed paths with Mlatar Thon Gra, a Togorian master smith who had traveled to Zuliria in search of his missing mate. Ther-Das forged a friendship with Mlatar based on their shared passion for swords, and the Arcona assisted him in his quest. Eventually, they discovered that Thon Gra's mate had been murdered, and with no reason to return to his home world, Mlatar accepted Ther-Das's offer to join the Zulirian Swordmasters.
Then there was Cene Gilvent, an Ocsin enthusiast and colleague of Ther-Das at the Museum. She was initially rejected due to her unconventional fighting style, which combined a multitude of different martial arts; however, she was ultimately accepted into the Swordmasters.
Ther-Das was chosen to lead the Swordmasters due to his extensive knowledge and unwavering drive. His closest friend within the team, Naklian, assumed the role of his second-in-command.
As time progressed, the group members realized their exceptional abilities as "swordsmen" and combatants. Within a year of their founding, they transitioned their original mission from "collecting" to utilizing their expertise to become vigilantes. They have displayed a tendency to target unarmed adversaries.
In Teloc Ol-sen, the Swordmasters encountered a Rebel cell, with one of the Rebels wielding a vibroblade. Zulirian Swordmaster Kaltor Naklian challenged this rebel to a duel and, upon his refusal, Naklian simply executed him. The Rebels attempted to retaliate, but the Swordmasters swiftly massacred them. Consequently, they have been deemed a threat to the Rebel Alliance, warranting reports authored by Tura Raftican and other Rebels.
