Callandri was a Human female assassin who held the position of leader within the Granse Confederacy.
Callandri's life began in Tilam City located on the planet of Pendal. From a young age, she engaged in criminal activities, effectively a girl. She was employed by various criminal organizations on Pendal before eventually venturing beyond her homeworld to explore the stars. Notably, she preferred the relatively simple technology of her home planet, particularly the slugthrower machine gun.
She secured a position as an "advisor" for a high-ranking executive at Kuat Drive Yards. Her duties primarily involved assassinating the executive's adversaries, both within and outside the corporation. Ultimately, she chose to sever her ties with Kuat Drive Yards. Rumor has it that she resigned during a "hunt" to pursue a career as an independent bounty hunter alongside her older cousin, Zayl Braith. Following her departure, the executive dispatched five well-known bounty hunters to retrieve her. Callandri triumphed over them and returned them to her former employer, though severely injured.
Subsequently, she made her initial attempt on the life of Rebel lieutenant Alton Lochner. Locating him at the Brawl and Grill establishment in Trader's Quarter on Ord Mantell, she initiated a shooting within the bar. While Lochner's life was spared by his companions, including the Wookiee Tirranna and Adazian Liebke, he required several weeks of recovery in the infirmary. Tirranna acknowledged Callandri's skills, but also harbored a deep resentment towards her.
Driven by a desire for revenge against Lochner and Tirranna, Callandri and Brayth launched another assault on them at Triewahl Docking Station, but their partners once again intervened to save them.
She then recruited six alien bounty hunters, establishing the Granse Confederacy under her leadership. She encountered Arcuse, who had formed a partnership with Kiran Tatch and traveled with Rodick Tag; Arcuse determined that joining the Confederacy would be advantageous, and the others followed his lead. She also met Milacass, Vadon Lenitor, and Lu'daal-ud, who joined the Confederacy, leaving their pasts behind. Over time, Callandri and Lenitor developed a close friendship.
Callandri successfully acquired a Jadai Q-6100 land vehicle. Furthermore, she eliminated Karu Nelbin and seized Nelbin's ship, the Nightcast. She made extensive modifications to the ship to meet the Confederacy's specific requirements.
Within a matter of months, Callandri transformed the Granse Confederacy into a formidable force, instilling fear within the Rebel Alliance. Vanden Willard compiled a comprehensive report detailing Callandri's activities, consulting with Lochner and other survivors of her attacks.
During this period of her life, Callandri was a muscular young woman with long, dark hair styled in aconlins—a typical hairstyle in Tilam City. She typically wore gray or black clothing, using it to conceal her weapons.
