Pendal, found in the New Territories section of the Mid Rim, was a planet within the Homon sector. It existed in the Pendal system. This planet was home to Tilam City, a settlement, and the technology generally used on Pendal was less advanced compared to the high-tech devices found throughout the galaxy. Callandri, a Human female, was raised in Tilam City and became involved in numerous types of criminal activity from a young age. While working for several criminal groups on Pendal, she honed her assassination abilities. By 0 ABY, Callandri had left Pendal and ultimately became an assassin, relying on less sophisticated technologies like a slugthrower submachinegun and a Q-6100 groundspeeder.
The planet Pendal initially appeared in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a sourcebook published in 1995 for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. The 2009 book, The Essential Atlas, specified the location of the Pendal system, and consequently Pendal itself, as grid square M-7.
