Submachinegun

A submachinegun was a specific variety of slugthrower, characterized by its ability to fire in rapid succession, and classified as a type of rifle.

Description

These rapid-firing rifles, known as submachineguns, were a type of slugthrower. The design of these weapons typically allowed for bursts of 4 to 10 bullets before requiring a reload.

Usage

Neo-atomic civilizations' militaries made use of submachineguns.

This weapon design also originated from the world of Pendal. Functionally, it served as a projectile-based rapid-fire weapon, analogous to a contemporary repeating blaster. Callandri, an assassin from Pendal, was known to prefer this particular weapon type.
