Arcuse, an Ubese male from the Legends-era, operated as a bounty hunter. He was also a member of the Granse Confederacy.
Arcuse, presumably born on Ubertica, embarked on his career as a bounty hunter shortly after 18 BBY. He experienced a successful career for the next two decades. He successfully hunted several well-known bounties, including the Exelis Hunters who spread terror throughout the Strabin sector. Due to his nomadic tendencies, he would relocate after a period of time in one location. For a while, he was employed by various Hutts within the Y'Toub system. During this employment, he met another bounty hunter, Kiran Tatch, and they established a partnership. Tatch appreciated Arcuse's reserved nature, especially in contrast to the boastful Hutts.
Around 1 ABY, Tatch's contempt got the better of him. During a visit to the Hollastin system, he spat on Glorga the Hutt. Because Tatch had been a valuable employee for a considerable time, he was instructed to leave instead of facing execution. Arcuse chose to depart with him, resulting in both of them being blacklisted. Arcuse recognized that he could have had an exceptional career as a bounty hunter had he stayed, but he determined it was an opportune moment for a change. As they were leaving Hutt Space, they encountered Rodick Tag, an Iotran Braceman who had also left the Hutts' service. The three formed a loose alliance, and then they encountered the assassin Callandri, who desired to establish a group of bounty hunters. Arcuse concluded that joining this team would be beneficial, and the others concurred. The Granse Confederacy was then established with other members—a group of bounty hunters who primarily focused on hunting members of the Rebel Alliance.
Arcuse's extensive knowledge of hideouts and his widespread network of contacts throughout the galaxy were highly valued assets for the Confederacy. Rebel lieutenant Akul Witig noted in a report about Arcuse that he exhibited no cruelty in his work and was respected and even well-liked—having surprisingly few enemies for a bounty hunter. However, despite the Task Force on Alliance Security fearing Arcuse's potential threat, they also believed he would eventually feel the need to leave the Granse Confederacy. As of 2 ABY, Arcuse was still affiliated with the Granse Confederacy and was last sighted on Draria.
