Hirsi was the original homeworld of the Qwohog species.
The Galactic Empire conquered the planet during the Imperial Period, leading to widespread environmental ruin. Specifically, the Galactic Civil War saw the Empire exploit the planet for its rudic crystal mines.
Later, during Operation Shadow Hand, the resurrected Empire's Galaxy Gun obliterated the planet completely.
