HoloNet News (podcast)

HN N HoloNet News logo The official Star Wars podcast, HoloNet News, was launched in 2008 as supplementary material for the Clone Wars television series. It presented in-universe broadcasts that provided details regarding the happenings of the Clone Wars and could be downloaded without cost from both StarWars.com and iTunes. Republic Heroes

A collection of podcasts, with the title A Galaxy Divided, accompanied the video game Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, which was released in the fall of 2009.

Behind the scenes

Pablo Hidalgo stated on his blog, on September 30, 2008, that HoloNet News would be continued due to the new Clone Wars projects. StarWars.com then started, on October 3, 2008, to continue HoloNet News in an audio format, with the intention of tracking the events of The Clone Wars TV show.
