A T-series tactical droid was deployed under the command of Chevin Major Hoom Garaf of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, specifically at the Third Battle of Aefao. As with other T-series tactical droids manufactured by Baktoid Combat Automata, this tactical droid assigned to Garaf experienced difficulties when interacting and disagreeing with organic lifeforms. Consequently, due to a conflict between them, the droid executed Garaf on the world of Aefao amidst the battle. This act triggered a disorganized firefight among the Separatist rear forces, which in the end enabled the Galactic Republic to secure victory.
The tactical droid belonging to Hoom Garaf received a mention in The Essential Guide to Warfare, a reference work from 2012 authored by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.
