Horns was a clone trooper, serving under the command of Jedi General B'ink Utrila during the Draay 2 mission. Notably, his helmet displayed the emblem of the Death Watch.
Horns, a clone trooper, was a Human male created through cloning technology, using the DNA of the bounty hunter Jango Fett. His helmet bore purple markings representing the Death Watch symbol. During the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Horns collaborated with fellow troopers Lieutenant Law, Cannon, and Glitch.
He participated in a mission to Draay 2, tasked with finding the Gauntlet of Kressh the Younger. This operation was led by Jedi B'ink Utrila and Padawan Rennax Omani. Upon locating the Gauntlet, they discovered it was guarded by Sarls. After setting up camp, they were ambushed by the Death Watch, led by Pre Vizsla, who sought the Gauntlet for himself. Vizsla captured Padawan Omani and ordered the clone troopers to surrender. Recognizing Horns' symbol, the Mandalorian offered him a test to prove his worthiness to join the Death Watch: the execution of Utrila. Horns refused, facing imminent execution himself, when Glitch activated a lightsaber he possessed. Glitch briefly fought Vizsla before causing the Temple's collapse. The Jedi, troopers, and Mandalorians escaped, and Horns shot one of the Death Watch's jetpacks, causing the wearer to crash into the canyon, which prompted Vizsla to order a retreat.
Horns displayed the Death Watch symbol on his Phase II clone trooper armor because he saw himself as one of the most lethal clones of a great Mandalorian warrior, and he believed the Death Watch were the most dangerous warriors in the galaxy. During the Temple mission, he tried to show why he wore the symbol by charging at the guardian droid, but was knocked back. He declined the opportunity to join the Death Watch by refusing to murder his Jedi General. After their escape, he removed his helmet and joined in the memorial for trooper Glitch.
Pre Vizsla, the leader of the Death Watch, dismissed his actions as mere imitation.
Horns is a character in the 2012 comic book, The Clone Wars: Defenders of the Lost Temple.
