Houliet existed as a human of the female persuasion and was a member of a diminutive band of pirates operating in the Imperial Era. Within her trio of buccaneers, she possessed the highest intellect and was the most prone to trickery. Prior to her life as a pirate, Houliet held the rank of lieutenant within the armed forces.
The initial appearance of Houliet occurred in the brief narrative "The Witch & the Wookiee", which was included in the book Myths & Fables. This book was penned by George Mann and featured artwork by Grant Griffin.
