Hurana was a student of the female persuasion. She belonged to a team of youthful mercenaries training at the prestigious Leadership School of Andara. This occurred in the waning years of the Galactic Republic, just before the Clone Wars. Her specific responsibility was handling the group's travel arrangements.
Despite her timid disposition, Hurana, a slender girl with pale golden eyes, possessed an unexpected talent as an aggressive swoop-bike rider.
Hurana held the position of transportation manager for a team of young mercenaries enrolled at the aforementioned school. While the team was engaged in a mission commissioned by Ieria's ruler, Rana Halion, Hurana was in the process of sourcing a pair of A-6 Interceptors at the marketplace. Her fellow squad members included Gillam Tarturi, Rolai Frac, Tulah, Marit Dice, and Ze.
During their assignment on Ieria, Gillam and the group feigned acceptance of the young Padawan Anakin Skywalker into their ranks. Subsequently, Gillam attempted to assassinate Skywalker, but Anakin, acting alone, triumphed over all six mercenaries. Marit then swayed Hurana, Tulah, and Ze by convincing them that Gillam had deceived them and was exploiting them for personal vengeance, not for the sake of justice. Later, Anakin, accompanied by Siri Tachi, Ferus Olin, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, transported the squad to Coruscant to resolve the web of lies, betrayals, and illicit activities that had plagued the group.
