Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories 8 represents the eighth installment in the canon, all-ages anthology comic book series known as Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories. This particular issue, brought to life by the writing of Michael Moreci and the illustrations of Andy Duggan, Michael Atiyeh, and Bill Crabtree, was released by Dark Horse Comics on August 30, 2023. It is a canon story.
With the First Order's increasing influence, Supreme Leader Snoke sends Kylo Ren and General Hux to the planet Karaxis with the goal of imposing his authority on its inhabitants. While Ren is occupied with tracking down a fugitive in the wilderness, Hux endeavors to discover a novel and brutal method of ensuring obedience. The question remains: what is the breaking point for the Karaxians, before they are left with absolutely nothing to forfeit?
