Ikon
Ikon was a star of the red dwarf variety. This celestial body resided in the Ikon system, which itself was situated in the Majoor sector. The Majoor sector was a region found inside the Trailing Sectors of the Expansion Region. An asteroid belt circled Ikon, and following the Battle of Yavin, Rebel Alliance supporters secretly established a base there, right under the Galactic Empire's watchful gaze. It was orbited by the belt.
Behind the scenes
The comic-book series Star Wars: River of Chaos featured Ikon in its first issue. Louise Simonson wrote the issue, while June Brigman provided the illustrations. Dark Horse Comics released the first issue on June 6 of 1995.
The reference book The Essential Atlas, published in 2009, indicated that the Ikon system, and thus the star Ikon, was located in grid square N-15.
