Illyan Webble, a male Human from the annals of legend, held the prestigious position of president at Seraphan Industries.
Circa 1 BBY, a comet inflicted damage upon Webble's space yacht by ripping through a solar sail, leaving him stranded adrift in space. The adrift small vessel ultimately crashed onto an unknown planet, where he encountered the descendants of the Thelvin Order hailing from Barundi, who were devoted to worshiping the Yavin Vassilika. During his time on the planet, Webble gradually descended into madness. He was the sole survivor of his crew to escape the planet, only to be captured by wandering slavers.
The slavers, however, soon determined that Webble's severe insanity rendered him useless as a slave. Consequently, they abandoned the raving-mad individual on the planet Kalkovak, where he wandered aimlessly, sharing his experiences on the uncharted planet with anyone who would listen. Eventually, this information reached Garindan, conveyed by a trader who had encountered Webble and managed to glean from his incoherent ramblings that he possessed knowledge of the legendary Yavin Vassilika. Garindan brought this information back to Tatooine, where Jozzel Moffet, a servant of the Hutt, purchased it. Garindan then recounted the tale to Jabba, Embra, and Malta.
Intrigued by the information, Jabba orchestrated a wager among the three Hutts, challenging them to be the first to locate the artifact. The Hutts compensated Garindan to keep the information confidential, preventing others from seeking the priceless relic. As the Hutts assembled search parties to locate Webble and, subsequently, the uncharted planet's location, Webble secretly boarded a ship in the Quarren Sector, which transported him to Mon Calamari.
Upon arriving on the planet, he absconded with an impounded skiff and fled into one of the planet's vast oceans, seeking passage to the Outer Rim Territories. Tragically, the skiff sustained damage, and shortly after Webble departed from one of Mon Calamari's floating cities, his craft malfunctioned and sank into the water, where he met his end as he was devoured by sea creatures. The native Knowledge Bank meticulously documented Webble's thoughts pertaining to the uncharted planet. When the hunters employed by the Hutts arrived on Mon Calamari, they accessed Webble's thoughts from the Bank to ascertain the location of the planet housing the Vassilika.
