Imperial Archives


The term Imperial Archives was generally used to refer to the aggregated information about the Galactic Empire. This information was not stored in one place, but rather on numerous interconnected databases and planets throughout the galaxy. Instead of a unified repository, the archives were organized into several distinct topical areas. Beaumont Kin, a historian, referenced many documents from within the Imperial Archives in his book, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, published in 35 ABY.

Description

Across the galaxy, a variety of databanks held information about the Galactic Empire, and this collection of data was known as the Imperial Archives. The collection was divided into sections, each focusing on a particular subject, and each section encompassed a wide array of documents.
