The Imperial expansion refers to a period when the Galactic Empire sought to broaden its reach throughout the galaxy during its time in reign. As part of this initiative, the Empire established a military base on Nevarro, a planet situated in the Outer Rim and characterized by volcanic activity. This base remained standing into the New Republic Era, at which point Moff Gideon's Imperial remnant utilized it for genetic experiments. Ultimately, around 9 ABY, a group spearheaded by Magistrate Greef Karga brought about the destruction of the base that was built during the expansion.
