Imperial Galactic Bank

The Imperial Galactic Bank served as a bank connected to the Galactic Empire throughout the Imperial Era. Prior to 3 ABY, the human named Riko Vess established herself as a proficient slicer by breaching numerous secure networks, including the Imperial Galactic Bank's system.

During 3 ABY, the bank dispatched representatives to the planet Akiva to conduct a thorough audit and collect taxes from its residents, who were governed by a Satrap. Simultaneously, the bank announced a new wave of investments directed towards construction initiatives on the world of Hosnian Prime, which then led to a heightened need for residential projects in the southern hemisphere of Coruscant. Dorna Parros, a reporter for the HoloNet News, covered both of these events in separate broadcasts. Regarding the former, she included a statement from the Satrapy asserting their expectation of full compliance due to their adherence to Imperial protocols.

Production Notes

Within the current Star Wars canon, the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment, included a reference to the Imperial Galactic Bank. This bank initially appeared in the Star Wars Legends timeline, with its debut in Graveyard of Alderaan, a 1991 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game authored by Bill Slavicsek and released by West End Games.
