Implanters, also referred to as "creepers", were Yuuzhan Vong organisms whose purpose was to enslave sentient creatures by "implanting" them with surge-coral. These beings transported numerous surge-coral seeds upon their dorsal regions. To subdue and cause suffering to their targets, the creeper employed its feathery limbs to interfere with the victim's nervous system, subsequently implanting the seeds. Beings related to implanters found utilization within the escalation ritual.
