Infrared-rated constable was the most junior position within the Sullustan Constable Brigade. These constables were essentially cadets in the brigade, the law enforcement division of the SoroSuub Corporation. The SoroSuub Corporation governed the Outer Rim Territories planet of Sullust. This rank, like the other eight ranks in the Sullustan Constable Brigade, was named after a part of the light spectrum.
The rank known as infrared-rated constable appeared in the Strongholds of Resistance sourcebook for Star Wars Roleplaying, released in 2015 by Fantasy Flight Games. This book was a part of the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game.
