Interceptor Eight

Interceptor Eight, a unit of starfighters, was a squadron attached to the New Republic Defense Fleet Fifth Battle Group's Intrepid, an Endurance-class fleet carrier.

In the time leading up to the Battle of Doornik-319, Interceptor Eight was among the squadrons ready for quick deployment from the Intrepid; upon the Intrepid's arrival in the system, Interceptor Eight formed part of the fleet carrier's protective fighter screen and fought in the Yevethan surprise attack that unfolded.
