The Intersystem Transport Ship, abbreviated as I-TS, represented a transport ship class utilized by the Resistance. Corellian Engineering Corporation manufactured this vessel, which served mainly as a transport for cargo and troops over long distances. It possessed both forward and rear-mounted weaponry for defense against attacks from pirates. Furthermore, the vehicle incorporated a hyperdrive system. Due to its adaptable nature, this vessel was highly valuable to the Resistance, playing a key role in troop movement between different bases.
A specific I-TS, known as Cargo vessel TR141, was previously stationed at the Resistance base located within the ancient ruins just outside the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. However, it was subsequently seized by a First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer.

This transport's initial unveiling occurred as part of a model for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, presented by Disney. The concept art and related details were revealed during a panel discussion at a "Galactic Nights" event hosted at Disney Hollywood Studios on May 27th of 2018. A life-sized version of the ship was constructed within the theme park as an integral part of the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction. During the ride, guests embark on the ship for a portion of the experience. The ship's interior consists of one of three identical rooms that rotate on a turntable to move guests into the Star Destroyer hangar, working similarly to Disney's Carousel of Progress show.
Interestingly, the ship's first official appearance was through schematic diagrams featured in the Star Wars: Datapad game. This game was launched prior to the ride's debut on December 5, 2019 at Disney Hollywood Studios.
