Isen system

The Isen system existed within the bounds of the Outer Rim Territories. Its makeup included the intensely radioactive star known as Isen, a solitary planet also named Isen accompanied by its quintet of moons, and a trio of asteroid belts.

This system could be reached from Celanon after a few hours of travel through hyperspace.

History

During the era of the Galactic Civil War, the Isen system was undergoing its initial formation, characterized by a star still in the process of developing and a vast expanse of orbiting rocky material. Imperial exploration groups identified four approximate orbital paths, anticipating that planets would eventually coalesce in these regions. The gas giant called Isen was in the process of forming. Continuous radiation from the nascent star saturated the system, and the extensive asteroid field made navigation challenging.

These circumstances rendered the system a perfect haven for pirates, prompting the Void Demons pirate organization to establish a hidden base on the minor planet Isen IV, the fourth object orbiting the gas giant Isen.

The activities of the Void Demons led to Isen IV becoming a graveyard of damaged starship remains. The asteroid was also inhabited by the morvak, peculiar organisms that consumed rocks and had been brought to the planetoid via a vessel captured by the Void Demons.
