J9-B4, a J9 worker drone serving the New Republic aboard the CR90 corvette known as the FarStar, held the responsibility of tending to the hydroponics bay. This particular unit, along with J9-R1 and J9-K6-24, was often referred to as a "busybody." This droid, who saw itself as an "efficiency expert," never ran out of ideas for boosting the crew's spirits and productivity, and frequently argued with the other two J9 droids present.
