Jagged Antilles

Jagged Antilles was a Human male, who was the father of both New Republic pilot Wedge Antilles and Holodrama actress Syal Antilles Fel. Along with his wife, Zena, Jagged was the owner of the Corellian Inter-System Marketing Station and fuel depot located on the Gus Treta Inner-System Market Station.

Biography

While attempting to flee from Corellian authorities, the Bonestar Pirates took off with refueling lines still connected to their ship, resulting in an explosion that killed both him and his wife. The resulting blast threatened the destruction of Gus Treta, but Jagged and Zena gave their lives to contain the damage to their own depot.

Wedge Antilles, consumed by rage, hunted down the pirates' vessel, destroying it and eliminating all of its occupants, with the exception of their captain, Loka Hask.

Both of his children achieved widespread fame throughout the galaxy: his son, Wedge, became a squadron leader within the Rebel Alliance and subsequently a general in the New Republic, while his daughter, Syal, rose to prominence as a celebrated holodrama star within the Galactic Empire.

His grandson, Jagged Fel, who would later become the Emperor of the Fel Empire, received his name in honor of him.

Behind the scenes

During the production of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith in 2005, the final film of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Sang Jun Lee created concept art depicting Wedge Antilles' father. However, this idea was ultimately omitted from the final version of the film.
