The Gus Treta Inner-System Market Station was a space station positioned in orbit around Gus Treta, which is one of the three moons belonging to the planet of Corellia. This station completed a single orbit approximately five times each day, which equates to once every 4.8 hours. It was well-known for offering a wide range of services to the five neighboring planets. Originally, the station began as the remains of the Xim's Scion, a pirate cruiser that had been obliterated in a battle with the Corellian Security Force several centuries before the Battle of Yavin. A group of resourceful Corellians towed the forward 250-meter section of the destroyed cruiser into an elliptical orbit surrounding Gus Treta, and over the subsequent years, they transformed it into a refueling station and market. After purchasing the station, the Hutt Gormo Vosadii Grasso collaborated with Hoersch-Kessel Drive, Inc., the original builders of the Scion, to add modular expansions on top of the existing structure.
Jagged Antilles and his wife, Zena, were the owners and operators of a fuel depot located on the station. Wedge Antilles spent his early years both attending school on Corellia and working with his family aboard the Gus Treta.
In 4 BBY, the station faced near destruction when Loka Hask of the Bonestar Pirate, while attempting to evade CorSec, intentionally took off in his ship, Buzzzer, while the refueling lines were still connected. The resulting explosion posed a significant threat to the Gus Treta. Ultimately, most of the space station was destroyed, but some parts were salvaged due to the actions of Jagged and Zena, who gave their lives to minimize the damage to the station and save the lives of those on board.
