Jagomir, a planet of humid conditions, existed within the Outer Rim Territories in the Jaga's Cluster. Following their forced departure from their base located on Arda I, the Rebel Alliance established a base there. Although no sentient inhabitants were known to originate there, the world of Jagomir thrived with abundant plants and creatures, with numerous species posing considerable danger.
The world's terrain consisted of thirty continents alongside several seas. Approximately 75% of the planetary surface was made up of swampland.
Situated within the Esstran sector of the Outer Rim Territories', Jagomir was a planet found in the Jaga's Cluster. Its orbital period was 329 days, while its rotational period was thirty hours.
Swamps and various other wetland biomes covered two-thirds of Jagomir's surface. Roughly thirty mountainous landmasses dotted the planet, separated by expansive seas. The atmosphere of Jagomir was humid and contained a high oxygen content, although breathing could occasionally prove difficult. High temperatures and the tendency for vehicles to malfunction without proper protection from the humidity further contributed to the planet's harsh environment.
Jagomir presented many dangers. Some of these hazards were biological, such as the venomous evarrian hunters and various diseases. Others were ecological, including sinkholes and dense fog.
Before the Galactic Civil War began, a pirate group constructed a base in the Aethrorn Mountains of Jagomir. Years afterward, the Alliance to Restore the Republic would build a facility in the same mountain range, known as Resolute Base. Jagomir was selected as a possible base location because it was quite distant from Imperial operations. Nevertheless, it was only utilized as a base by a group of Rebels escaping their base on Arda I, which Imperial forces had recently attacked.
While Jagomir lacked any indigenous sentient species, it was the habitat of the azurdactyl, a semi-sentient species. After evacuating their base on Arda I, 306 members of the Alliance to Restore the Republic arrived on the planet. The group consisted mainly of Humans and Bothans. Prior to the Rebels' arrival, a pirate group also inhabited the planet.
