These species members, known for their elongated heads and large, downward-curving horns, boasted lifespans extending into the millennia. Jaing, the only known member, was a celebrated Mandalorian training master involved in numerous Mandalorian conflicts across millennia. To honor Jaing, the Mandalorian clans under his command adopted a crest featuring his species' skull. Later Mandalorians, observing the skull's resemblance to a male mythosaur skull, misinterpreted the crest as such. Despite the crest becoming a collective symbol for the Mandalorians, the original connection to Jaing and his species faded into obscurity.
