Jano Bix was a Twi'lek male who led a swoop gang. He ran his operations from Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin which occurred in 0 BBY, he ordered four gorg combos from Tasty Dried Critters, but the gorgs turned on him. The spacer delivering the food dispatched the gorgs, and Jano Bix proceeded to consume them regardless.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, Jano Bix existed as a non-player character. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The character of Jano Bix was included in the game with the "Publish 25" update, also known as the "New Game Enhancements," which went live on November 15, 2005.
