Jedd system

The Jedd system existed within the expanse of Wild Space. Jedd Six, a planet, orbited the star system in the sixth orbital position. Lexi Fernandin, a Human, holds the distinction of being the first to scout the planet during the concluding years of the Galactic Republic.

Behind the scenes

The initial mention of the Jedd system appeared in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," a supplementary article for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, a roleplaying game published in Voyages SF 13 in 1990, and authored by Glen Allison. This article located it, alongside the Begali, Columus, Grehollo, Jerijador, Kaelta, Nosken, and Tsukkia systems, within the boundaries of the Grehollo sector.

Given that the article's publication occurred outside the oversight of Lucas Licensing, the canonicity of its content within the Star Wars Legends continuity remained unconfirmed. However, the StarWars.com Online Companion for the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas has since reassigned the Grehollo, Jerijador, Kaelta, Nosken, and Tsukkia systems to different sectors. Moreover, because the Online Companion has also situated the Begali, Columus, and Jedd systems in distinct galactic regions—placing the Jedd system in grid square I-14—this text assumes the Voyages SF 13 placement is no longer valid for any of the aforementioned systems.
