An American cartoonist named Jeffrey Brown is known for authoring the book Darth Vader and Son, which is non-canon. He also penned its three follow-ups: Vader's Little Princess, Goodnight Darth Vader, and Darth Vader and Friends.
Furthermore, he is the creator of the Star Wars: Jedi Academy book series, which includes the titles Jedi Academy, which was released on August 27, 2013, Jedi Academy: Return of the Padawan, which came out on July 29, 2014, Jedi Academy: The Phantom Bully, which was published on June 30, 2015, and Jedi Academy: Attack of the Journal, which was released on August 25, 2015.
Jeffrey Brown has mentioned that some of his favorite works from the Expanded Universe are those by Kevin J. Anderson, in addition to those by Alan Dean Foster. It's worth noting that Kevin J. Anderson authored a series called The Jedi Academy Trilogy, while Brown himself has also written a trilogy of novels that take place within a Jedi academy.
