Jesse Harlin


Jesse Harlin, born on August 11, 1976, in Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania, served as the Staff Composer at LucasArts, which was a company owned by Lucasfilm Ltd.. Since 1999, Harlin has been composing music for video games, with his most notable work being the soundtrack for Star Wars: Republic Commando. He was employed by LucasArts from 2003 until it ceased operations in 2013, during which time he contributed to titles such as Gladius, the Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith video game, Star Wars: Battlefront II, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and the unreleased Star Wars: 1313.

Harlin originated Ancient Mandalorian, a Star Wars language, for Republic Commando. This language later served as the inspiration for Mando'a, created by Karen Traviss.
