Joc Sah was a male Human Jedi Padawan, who, during the Clone Wars, held the rank of commander. In the final year of that conflict, Sah, along with his Jedi Master, Sev, received orders to go to Ragmar V, a planet situated in the Outer Rim. This world was deemed crucial as a staging point for an impending offensive against a Separatist stronghold. With a squad of clone troopers, Sah journeyed to the planet's surface with the aim of securing an outpost. However, after their gunship met its end, Sah and his soldiers found themselves facing Gaan, the leader of a local group of outcasts, and his followers. As Sah and Gaan were on the verge of engaging in combat, Clone Sergeant Remy received a directive from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to initiate Order 66, an order that branded the Jedi Knights as enemies of the Republic. Immediately, Remy and the other members of the squad attacked Sah, who then temporarily joined forces with Gaan to eliminate the troopers. Upon realizing the betrayal by the Republic, Sah chose to ally himself with Gaan and his fellow outcasts to fight against the group of clones dispatched to ensure Sah's demise.
Born in the closing decades of the Galactic Republic, Joc Sah was a male Human. The Jedi Order oversaw his training in the ways of the Force, and as a Padawan, he eventually became the apprentice of Sev, a Weequay Jedi Master. When the Clone Wars began in 22 BBY, Sah rose to the rank of commander within the Grand Army of the Republic, assisting his Master in leading the clone forces. In 19 BBY, Sah and Sev journeyed to Ragmar V, a planet in the Outer Rim Territories that was considered a critical location for a planned Republic offensive on a Separatist installation. Sev tasked Sah with leading a squad of clones to the planet's surface to secure an outpost. Accompanied by Clone Sergeant Remy and other troopers, Sah entered Ragmar V's atmosphere aboard a LAAT/i gunship. During the flight, he expressed to Sev his desire for a more engaging mission for his first solo assignment. Sev, however, cautioned the Padawan to remain vigilant, noting that even seemingly insignificant skirmishes could escalate into major conflicts.

After landing on a cliff and disembarking, Remy informed Sah about a settlement located a few klicks away. However, a rocket fired from the village destroyed their ship, prompting Sah and his troops to descend from the cliff and confront the villagers. As they approached the town, Sah instructed Remy to divide the soldiers and secure the flanks while he engaged in conversation with Gaan, the settlement's leader. Gaan declared that the Republic's presence was unwelcome, but Sah countered by mentioning an assault ship. As the two prepared to fight, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine issued Order 66 to Remy, a directive that identified the Jedi Knights as traitors to the Republic. Consequently, Remy and the clones attacked Sah, who sought cover in a nearby building and ordered them to cease fire. Gaan, also under attack by the clones, soon joined Sah. The Padawan then attempted to contact Sev, only to discover that his Master had been killed. Gaan proposed a temporary alliance to eliminate the clones, which Sah accepted, and together they defeated the soldiers.
After defeating the troops, Sah openly questioned why the clones had attacked him and tried once more to reach Sev over his comlink. Gaan replied that he had been betrayed and that he was now in Gaan's and his group's position of being an outcast. Sah accepted Gaan's offer of friendship, warning him that the clones would send more troops against the settlement. When a detachment of troopers landed on the surface to ensure Sah's death, the Padawan and Gaan engaged the soldiers in battle. Both Sah and Gaan survived the battle and staged a number of hit-and-run attacks against the clones.
Joc Sah, a male Human, typically wore brown Jedi robes and wielded a lightsaber powered by a green crystal. He eagerly anticipated participating in the Clone Wars' major battles and initially desired a more dynamic mission for his first solo assignment. Confident in his ability to subdue Gaan's settlement, he was taken aback by the clones' betrayal and attack. Initially hesitant to align himself with Gaan and his people, Sah ultimately accepted Gaan's offer of friendship upon realizing the Republic's treachery.
Joc Sah demonstrated proficiency in lightsaber combat, effectively deflecting blaster fire. He also exhibited skill in using the Force to move objects, as evidenced by his redirection of a thermal detonator back at the clone troopers who attacked him.
Joc Sah was first seen in the short comic-book story The Order of Outcasts, featured within the fifth volume of the Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures trade paperbacks. Matt Jacobs created the character, and Matthew and Shawn Fillbach provided the artwork. While the comic only mentions his first name, the back cover of Clone Wars Adventures: Volume 5 identifies him as Joc Sah.
Later, The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia included an entry for Sah, stating that the Padawan, Gaan, and the other criminals fled into the desert following their escape from Remy and his troops. This contradicts The Order of Outcasts, which depicts the characters remaining in the village after defeating Remy's clones and preparing for the arrival of the clone detachment sent to eliminate Sah.
