Jom Irimore, a figure who served as an officer within the ranks of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, existed during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the pivotal Battle of Yavin, Irimore found himself stationed on Tyrena, a location situated on the planet Corellia. In the year 1 ABY, Irimore was approached by an officer from the Imperial Military who expressed a desire to defect to the Rebellion's cause. This Imperial officer was motivated to defect and provide valuable intelligence to the Rebels due to the loss of his family during the tragic Destruction of Alderaan. Consequently, Jom Irimore enlisted a Rebel operative to guide the Imperial defector to Rebel Officer Teslo Ten'Doora who was stationed at the Hidden Rebel Base on Corellia. However, the defector later altered the arrangement, instructing the Rebel operative to convey a specific codephrase to Ten'Doora: "Droids need Star Destroyers in the evening." The operative successfully delivered the designated codephrase.

Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011, Jom Irimore appeared as a non-player character. Jom Irimore's inclusion in the game occurred with the release of Publish 14.1, which went live on March 24, 2005.
Because Jom Irimore was generated using the standard "rebel_officer_questgiver" template, their visual representation was randomly selected from a pool of six potential appearances and would change each time the server was reset.
