Jonashe Solo was a male from Corellia, a Prince-Admiral, and a member of the ancient Corellian royalty.
In the year 13 BBY, Han Solo informed an Imperial recruitment officer that he lacked any family. Consequently, the officer recorded the new recruit's name as simply "Han Solo." Nevertheless, a Snivvian bounty hunter asserted that Han was a direct descendant of Jonashe Solo, suggesting the recruitment officer's story was a fabrication. The bounty hunter further alleged that the Hutt Cartel was aware of this lineage and sought to reclaim Han as the rightful heir to Corellia's unoccupied throne. This account was documented in the journal of bartender Tivoche Bilure.
The character Jonashe Solo was initially referenced in Solo: A Star Wars Story: Tales from Vandor, a canon replica journal released in 2018 and authored by Jason Fry. The character Jonash e Solo was conceived for The Essential Guide to Warfare, a Star Wars Legends reference book published in 2012, co-written by Paul R. Urquhart and Jason Fry.
