This tablet once was the property of Jorak Uln, a Sith Master who previously held the position of Headmaster at the Sith Academy situated on the planet of Korriban. Uln met his demise at the hands of Revan, who was once a Sith Lord but had become a Jedi Padawan, within the tomb belonging to the Sith Lord Tulak Hord; it is possible that Revan subsequently gave Uln's tablet to Uthar Wynn, Uln's one time Sith apprentice and the Headmaster.
The video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, released in 2003, included Jorak Uln's tablet as a featured item.
