Kabeji was a Rei'izu native, identified as male. In his youth, the Sith took over his planet, homeworld, and he was forced into service as a soldier in the Sith rebellion. He found himself in a squad of ten forced recruits, including Ekiya, Sue, Haba, Shogo, and Unsuke. A week following their departure from their home, the Dark Lord of the Sith, later to be called the Ronin, betrayed his Sith comrades, leading to the rebellion's downfall. In the chaos, Rei'izu vanished, leaving only space where it once existed. The Sith officer in charge of Kabeji's unit ordered them to fight to the bitter end against the Jedi and the Empire. However, they plotted to kill the commander and gain their freedom. They succeeded, though only six of them lived through the revolt.
He eventually journeyed to the Core, where he addressed predatory lending issues, partially by making some bankers vanish. Occasionally, he would share rice cakes with his companions.
