Ekiya

Ekiya was a female being who originated from the planet called Rei'izu. At the age of fourteen years, her homeworld was seized by the Sith. Consequently, she was forced into service as a soldier within the Sith rebellion. She would later state that she supposed that she appeared strong enough to be a combatant, but smart enough to not fight against the Sith. She was a member of a group of ten conscripted individuals, which included Habe, Kabeji, Sae, Shogo, and Unsuke. A single week after their departure from their home, the rebellion's leader—the Dark Lord of the Sith who would eventually become known as the Ronin—committed an act of betrayal against the other Sith. As the rebellion crumbled, Rei'izu vanished, leaving behind only empty space in its place. The Sith commander responsible for giving orders to Ekiya and her fellow soldiers wanted them to mount a final defense against the Jedi and the Empire. Instead, they plotted to kill the commander in order to gain their freedom. They succeeded, but only six of them survived the revolt.

With Rei'izu gone, Ekiya and other individuals originating from that world were rendered as refugees. At some point time following the rebellion, Ekiya took on the role of pilot for a starship known as the Poor Crow. Throughout the passage of years, she gathered relics from other Rei'izu refugees. These relics contained kyber crystals that were believed to hold the ghosts of the deceased, intended to be delivered to a temple located on Rei'izu. However, with their planet's disappearance, returning the ghosts to their home became an impossibility. Ekiya was entrusted with the responsibility of delivering the relics at some point in the future, if Rei'izu were ever to be rediscovered.

As an adult, Ekiya possessed a face that was round in shape, thick black hair, and a multitude of vibrant floral tattoos covering her well-muscled arms.
