Kaikieli Reconquista

The rise of pirates transforming the Kaikielius system into a sanctuary led to a surge in criminal activity, creating significant difficulties. Despite this, the Galactic Republic remained uninvolved due to the actions of Emppu Praji-Barck, the Minister of State, who utilized filibustering tactics to obstruct any attempts to provide assistance to Kaikielius. Praji-Barck, a member of House Praji, a rival faction to House Vahali (a family possessing substantial influence on Kaikielius), aimed to create complications for the Vahalii. However, the Odominic's decision to supply arms to the criminals of Kaikielius triggered a conflict between the criminal organizations and law enforcement, compelling the Republic to intervene.

Under the leadership of Jedi Master Vandar Tokare, accompanied by his two Padawans, the Republic dispatched forces to Kaikielius. Over a period of months, they launched assaults on the cities of Kaikielius most heavily infested with criminals, ultimately achieving victory.

While the Reconquista inflicted severe damage upon Kaikielius, it successfully eradicated the criminal factions. With the majority of its significant landmarks destroyed, the Jedi Order played a crucial role in the planet's reconstruction, improving it beyond its previous state.
