Kaj, a Chagrian woman, lived on the lunar surface of Nar Shaddaa and was part of Jega's Squad. She frequently chided her comrade Trot because of his fascination with dismemberment. Once the droid bounty hunter known as 4-LOM, reconstructed and under the command of Doctor Cribiriz Idollax, assaulted his associate, Zuckuss, on Nar Shaddaa, Kaj and her team tried to battle the droid. Zuckuss discovered and eliminated Idollax, leading to 4-LOM's liberation and subsequent exit. In the aftermath of their triumph, Kaj embraced a disgruntled Trot.
