Kallin Bremen was a male Human. He was the father of Jak Bremen, who became a Colonel and later served as the Director of Security for the New Republic Council within the New Republic.
The details of Bremen's early life remain unknown. However, it is known that by the time his son was born, Bremen resided in a small, somewhat underdeveloped village located on the world of Shiffrin. He held the position of chief constable in the village, a role that young Jak greatly admired, leading him to acquire significant knowledge about law and justice. When his son reached his teenage years, a local agriculturalist unearthed a deposit of hfredium on his property. This ore was a crucial component in the manufacturing of weaponry. Shortly after the farmer reported this discovery, the Galactic Empire established a military base in the village and proceeded to confiscate the land.
It wasn't long before Imperial officials realized that the deposit, initially believed to be insignificant, was actually far more substantial. Consequently, land was progressively seized from more and more farmers. Incensed by these unjust confiscations, Bremen voiced his opposition, arguing with the local authorities that the methods employed to seize the land contradicted Imperial regulations. However, his concerns were disregarded. Determined to obtain justice, Bremen rallied a collective of dissatisfied landowners and initiated a peaceful demonstration with the aim of bringing their grievances to the attention of the sector's Moff. The garrison commander, possibly in an attempt to conceal his own illicit activities, promptly arrested the entire group, falsely accusing them of being "Rebel agitators." Without any form of trial or hearing, the Moff decreed the execution of all those arrested, thus ending the life of Kallin Bremen.
