KashyCorp, a pioneering shipbuilding company, had its base of operations on Kashyyyk. The Owool Interceptor was a product of KashyCorp during the time of the Second Galactic Civil War. Initially, the Owool was conceived to serve the Galactic Alliance, but this changed abruptly when Darth Caedus gave the command for the orbital bombardment targeting Kashyyyk.
