The seat of power for Vallt's government was situated at a place called the Keep on the planet Vallt. Following the death of King Chai, control of the Keep was taken over by Marshal Phara. During the Clone Wars, Lyra Erso was imprisoned within the Keep's walls. It was during her time as a prisoner in the Keep that Lyra experienced birth, bringing Jyn Erso into the world.
