The Keeper of the Tower The designation Keeper of the Tower referred to a chosen royal administrator within the palace located on Tammuz-an. This individual held the duty of protecting the Tammuz-an royal scepter. A duty they performed was to oversee a coronation ceremony. During this ceremony, the Tammuz-an throne's successor would put the royal scepter into a designated receptacle inside the tower on the equinox's first sun.
