The rightful owner receives the Tammuz-an royal scepter once more.
The scepter of Tammuz-an, which was the royal symbol, represented the ultimate authority of the Tammuz-an ruler and functioned as an energy weapon. Without possessing it, assuming the position of King of Tammuz-an was impossible. According to the customs of Tammuz-an, the individual who presented the royal scepter to the Keeper of the Tower when the equinox's first sun appeared would be acknowledged as the legitimate ruler.
Around 15 years before the Battle of Yavin, Ko Zatec-Cha, a vizier, seized control of Tammuz-an's throne. This was done after he used mind-wiping on the Crown Prince, who was named Mon Julpa. However, Sollag Den, a servant who was loyal to Mon Julpa, removed the scepter from the planet. He then returned it to its rightful owner, and Mon Julpa eventually ascended to the throne, becoming King of Tammuz-an.
In addition to its symbolic value, the royal scepter could function as an energy weapon. Its capabilities included projecting energy waves and generating beams of light simply through the wielder's movements. Mon Julpa also had his memories restored upon obtaining the scepter; however, it is not known if this was a natural function of the scepter or if the sight of it simply triggered his memories. The scepter's construction involved an unidentified material that was resistant to blaster fire.
