Kentara

During the Galactic Civil War, Kentara, a male Wookiee, loyally served the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Soon after the Battle of Yavin, Kentara vanished without a trace. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his disappearance, rumors suggested that Kentara was undertaking a clandestine mission for General Airen Cracken. During an Imperial attack on the planet [Bundim]((/article/bundim) in the Trax sector, Kentara was present and was captured during the Battle of Heg. Unaware of Kentara's significance to the Alliance, the Imperials inadvertently placed him in the hands of Harthusa, a Devaronian slaver operating from Deysum III. At an auction, Quintarus Returyl, representing the Spice Mines of Kessel, purchased Kentara. However, an Alliance team, present on Deysum III to investigate the construction of an Imperial resupply depot in the Bissillirus system, recognized Kentara at the auction. That very night, the Alliance agents successfully liberated Kentara along with other slaves from the slave camp located outside the city. After being freed, Kentara was determined to return to Bundim and continue the fight against the Empire. He provided his rescuers with all the information he possessed regarding the occupying forces on the planet. The Alliance team, undeterred by the Imperial blockade, returned Kentara to the remaining Alliance forces on the planet, who were under the leadership of the Mon Calamari Kray'geen T'ihar.
