Kerrian

Doctor Kerrian, a Human male, headed up a Republic archaeological group that explored the Deep Cradle located on the planet Voss. Unfortunately, Kerrian and his entire team succumbed to madness; the sole survivor was the excavator Lefry, who was spared this fate because he had performed a Voss ritual that shielded him from the effects of the Nightmare Lands. Subsequently, the Barsen'thor and the mystic-in training, Gaden-Ko, arrived. At Lefry's urging, the Jedi sought out Kerrian to recover his holojournal for details about the area; however, the Barsen'thor's attempts to heal Kerrian's insanity proved unsuccessful, and the Jedi was compelled to kill the scientist.
