The Village Arena's portal. Located just over a bridge from Kerritamba Village on the planet Kashyyyk, the Kerritamba Village Arena was a fighting arena. To gain entry, authorization from Chief Kerritamba was necessary. Should a challenger overcome all trials within the arena, culminating in a victory over the Arena Champion, that person would then assume the mantle of Arena Champion.
Within the arena's confines, combatants would encounter numerous non-sentient creatures. Only upon successfully defeating all of these creatures could a challenger proceed to confront the Arena Champion.
This arena, the Kerritamba Village Arena, was featured in Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was brought to life by Sony and distributed by LucasArts. The game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011.
