Kerritamba, a Wookiee of great importance, served as the Chief of Kerritamba Village during the Galactic Civil War era. During this time, he relentlessly fought to safeguard his people and the surrounding Kkowir Forest from the aggressive Sayormi clans residing in the dangerous Dead Forest.
Early on during the Galactic Civil War, the Great Tree at the heart of his village fell ill, which spurred Kerritamba to seek a remedy. To achieve this goal, he enlisted someone to venture into the dangerous Myyydril Caverns to gather the necessary ingredients for a cure. These ingredients included a Nak'tra crystal, Luilris mushrooms, and an egg sac from a creature known as Urnsor'is.
Following the return of his recruit, he dispatched the individual once more to acquire an Osera seed from a Mouf, silk spun by a Webweaver, a Ranrt crystal, and lastly, a Mysess blossom. By combining all of these components, he successfully concocted a cure for the ailing tree. As a reward, he gifted the individual with the prestigious Blade of Nyenthi'Oris and 5,000 credits. Soon after, he resumed his fight against the Sayormi threat.
On another occasion, he sought assistance from an outsider, appealing to them to eliminate twenty Sayormi, Cyrans the Unfeeling, and the Sayormi Queen herself. This request, however, provoked the ire of the Village Champion, Wirartu, who believed that only he was worthy of such a significant task. Wirartu challenged the outsider to a duel in the arena, which he subsequently lost (though his life was spared). The individual then returned to Kerritamba and was presented with the Champion's sword and an Arena Champion badge.
Kerritamba existed as a non-playable character within the game Star Wars Galaxies before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. He was introduced in the Rage of the Wookiees expansion pack released in 2005. Players had the option to kill Wiratu instead of sparing him. Doing so resulted in Kerritamba exiling the player from the village, which then led to the player undertaking quests for the Outcasts. This storyline culminated in Kerritamba's death. No official source has ever established a canonical ending to this storyline.
